Andrew Wood Named Executive Director

 Andrew Wood has been named Executive Director of the Thousand Islands Land Trust. He joined TILT in 2007 as Director of Land Conservation where he helped develop conservation projects. He was also integral in completing TILT’s application for Accreditation by the Land Trust Alliance. Andrew served as Interim Director following the death of Aaron Vogel, Executive Director.

Andrew holds a B.S. from Cornell University School of Hotel Administration and worked in the hotel industry for a number of years. He lived in Los Angeles for over 12 years, where he gained real estate experience buying and renovating houses. Most recently, Andrew produced and directed theatre in London, England.

A life-long summer resident of Chippewa Bay, Andrew has a long family history in the North Country – his mother’s family goes back many generations in Hammond. He lives in Clayton.
