T.I. High School Students Help Community Picnic

 

Students from Thousand Islands High School have made the invitations for this year’s Community Picnic at Zenda Farm. The Basic Computer Applications Class, taught by Mrs. Kelly Harrington, is getting real-world experience by creating the invitations for this annual community event sponsored by the Thousand Islands Land Trust.
 
Participating students are:
  • 9th graders:Shyla Bachma, Celina Brown, Ariel Cornaire, Emily Costantino, Kayla Fitchette, Amber Forkey, Gabi Haycock, Makayla Hirst, Taylar Mayne, Ethan Miller, Faith Player, Brooke Robinson, Danielle Savage, Ciara Shaw
  • 10th graders: Miranda Bechaz, Celena Clark, Marcus Forkey, Shannon Frikken, Cory Gushlaw, Will McDonough, Mariah Phillips, Airyel Shaw, Cory Williams
  • 11th grader:Jacob Waterman and
  • 12th graders:Brittney Heyman, Stephen Macdonald
 
Several of the students’ versions were selected by TILT and will be mailed to a list of 1300 people.
 
All are welcome at the picnic whether you receive an invitation or not. Reservations are required, however, so TILT can be sure to have enough food. Tickets are $10 per person, $7 per child, and $25 per family. Contact the TILT office for more information or to make a reservation at 315-686-5345 or events@tilandtrust.org.
