Phase Two: the Discovery Center in 3D

From artifacts to interactive maps and touchscreens, the schematic design phase is well underway. The progress we are so excited to share can be seen through the renderings produced by the Amaze Design team.

During this phase, TILT’s team is helping make the space come alive. The interactive exhibits will take you across the region touching upon each Preserve, meet animals who share the region with us, update you on current projects, take a walk through history and more. It will offer educational components that can be applied locally and globally – where we live, learn and conserve.

TILT’s office space on the first floor of the building currently serves as a greeting point for visitors, and a meeting place for TILTreks programs and community organizations and partners. Soon it will be so much more with its transformation into the TILT Discovery Center: The Gateway to the Outdoors. The Center will be able to connect more people to the land and River which will be vital for their understanding of the health of our planet, its important water resources, and the future stewardship of this earth. And even more importantly, help visitors to be inspired by this incredible place - the Thousand Islands region and come to love and care for it as we do.

Stay tuned!
