Volunteer with TILT to help clean up debris\, trash and other items to prevent pollution and protect the watershed for future generations. By volunteering with TILT\, you can help steward the land to ensure a better quality of life and safeguard the place we proudly call home. Be sure to wear your trusty work attire and remember to bring gloves and tools if you have them. Your efforts will not only benefit our local environment but will also support critical research and conservation initiatives across the Great Lakes region through the Alliance for the Great Lakes Adopt-a-Beach program. Together we can make a local impact with global significance! This event is all about embracing your creativity while connecting with nature. We will guide you through the steps of creating your pinch pot—from shaping the clay to adding texture or designs with natural materials. Join the Thousand Islands Land Trust (TILT) at for our 13th annual “For the Trees” Community Event in celebration of Arbor Day. In twelve years\, volunteers have helped to plant more than 850 trees at our Preserves and throughout the community. This year\, we’re excited to join forces with local municipalities to plant even more trees\, creating greener spaces\, enhancing habitats\, and contributing to a healthier environment for generations to come.
