Zenda is such a special place for many visitors, from making memories walking the trails and watching wildlife, to participating in the numerous Treks and Events throughout the summer. This Spring Stewardship Day, we’re looking forward volunteers to help ready the Preserve for a busy summer. We’re looking for volunteers help to plant some bigger maples and grow our grove! If that’s not quite your speed, try something that the whole family can enjoy. Each spring, the roadsides require quite a bit of clean-up. Litter blows in from the road during winter and if not promptly removed in the spring, poses a threat to grassland nesting birds. Spend a beautiful spring day out on the land and give back to the place you love. Wear work clothes and be sure to bring gloves.
