Otter Creek Preserve & Nature Trail

2021 Warbler Walk

Get some fresh spring air and hone in on your newly sharpened birding skills with your eBird app in hand at the Otter Creek Preserve with avid birder and Master Naturalist Dan Miller. During this leisurely morning hike, you will learn identification skills and have the opportunity to see bird species galore during this month of migration. The group will set out to the Golden-wing Warbler habitat area with the goal of sighting a warbler or two and log our findings. How many species will we see?

Don’t forget your binoculars, a few sets will be available to borrow. Experienced, novice, and brand-new birders of all ages are encouraged to join us!

Birds rise above it all! The Smith Bird Trek Series is a two part program named in memory of our favorite “Bird Nerd” and consulting Ornithologist, Sherri Smith.
