Friday, May 23rd, 3:30pm-5:00pm: Art from Nature KidsTrek with the Thousand Islands Arts Center – Zenda Farms Preserve
Join TILT and community partner the Thousand Islands Art Center after school for an afternoon of fun, hands-on experience in creating your very own nature-inspired pinch pots! This event is all about embracing your creativity while connecting with nature. We will guide you through the steps of creating your pinch pot—from shaping the clay to adding texture or designs with natural materials. After we finish our pots, we will discuss the naturally-occurring clay in the Thousand Islands region, and how it impacts the ecosystem!
