The Thousand Islands Land Trust (TILT) launched its 2026 Treks Season with a successful Sunset Snowshoe & Bonfire Socialat Otter Creek Preserve on January 29th.
Nearly 40 participants, including one canine companion, joined a guided sunset snowshoe hike before gathering around a bonfire to enjoy hot cocoa, s’mores, and conversation. Spending time outdoors in winter offered participants a chance to slow down, embrace the season, and experience the physical and mental benefits of fresh air and movement during the colder months.
The event highlighted the beauty of Otter Creek Preserve in winter and encouraged community members to explore TILT trails year-round.
